The financier bought a smaller island - the Little St James - back in 1998, but subsequently obtained the bigger Great St James in the year 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
The released images indicate he had drawn up plans to transform the sprawling island by erecting homes, an performance venue, an underwater office and a pool.
Marked on the blueprint is Pillsbury Sound, a waterway in the region, indicated on the bottom right.
The site plan is marked up in handwritten red notes and includes a notes section detailing distinct parts of the estate.
Accompanying this are what seem to be an additional nine property layouts and architectural plans, including plans for dock shelters.
